The property is very well maintained and with modern furnishing without loosing its heritage feeling. It has a nice corridor running outside all rooms with ample outside seating furniture. Good feel to sit and have a cup of tea/coffee. The hotels has its own museum where you can see the ancient artifacts. Pictures, trophies of animals on wall, huge courtyards, big verandahs and gardens make it a true grandeur. We enjoyed the cultural event in the evening at the courtyard.

This hotel is a perfect blend of history and modernity with excellent service. It used to be the residency of the Maharaja and the hotel managed to keep his presence alive through the display of many objects, pictures and details. The rooms are enormous, well appointed and well maintained; the air conditioning was quiet and efficient. One can indulge in relaxing massage given by the experienced and exclusive personnel who are the part of the historic family that was assigned for providing massage service to the noble family. The food served was great too.
